Last week, the Solidbud team took part in the #SectorRiseUkraine trade mission to Prague. This was a unique opportunity to showcase Ukrainian businesses on the international stage, expand cooperation with Czech partners, and discuss key economic collaboration issues between Ukraine and the Czech Republic.

Cooperation in the Woodworking Sector

One of the key industries represented in the mission was furniture and woodworking. Delegation members had the opportunity to visit TON a.s., a globally recognized Czech chair manufacturer known for its expertise in bentwood furniture and innovative designs.

The delegation also explored the operations of Dybok, a Ukrainian furniture supermarket chain successfully operating in the Czech Republic. These visits provided valuable insights into the Czech furniture industry and potential areas for further cooperation.

Key Takeaways and Future Prospects

In addition to official meetings, representatives from EEN Czechia shared valuable insights into the Czech business climate, helping Ukrainian companies develop more effective market entry strategies.

The trade mission served as an excellent platform for establishing new connections, strengthening economic partnerships, and expanding opportunities for Ukrainian businesses.

We are grateful to all organizers, partners, and participants for a productive visit and look forward to taking the next steps in deepening cooperation between Ukraine and the Czech Republic.
